My mom has been here a month now (we love love love having her with us for sure!)- but I think the reality of being here is settling in. Transitions are hard at any point in your life - and I think she is slugging through it all. She was giving Victor a bath tonight - and they were having so much fun. The kind of fun where when you hear it happening, you want to go & see what's happening. I had to sit on my hands and stay put -- to let her enjoy Victor - to let them have their fun -- to let them make up for lost time -- to let them just be. I'm sure there are times when she wonders what has she gotten herself into -- but I hope those bath times, those silly times, they help to her to answer.
